Despite being a woman, I successfully joined a "gentlemen only" club. Here's how I did it:
I dressed up as a knight, in full armor. This concealed my gender. Then I spoke in curt phrases whenever anyone chatted me up. I tried to keep my visor shut most of the time; yet, as a precaution, in case I might need to show my face, I always went easy on the application of eyeshadow & lipstick.
