Incarceration

My life in jail is rugged and hard. The first thing I do every morning is rake the lawn. Then I must iron my orange jail costume and polish my boots. These chores are tedious and difficult. Jail is a drag. I’m here for five years, because I stole my boss’s car after killing my boss with a javelin. Now I must carry around a mop and a pail. What am I to do? How can I get out, except by serving my time? Ooh, I’m so angry, I could almost shout; but I hold back from doing so, because it’s still early, and I don’t want to wake up any of the other inmates. Just take my advice and avoid getting thrown in jail. This place leaves me feeling bored and depressed.
