Here is an essay on pinfish. Here is a story that I’ll tell you now. First, I was fishing with a mullet — that was my bait. I chopped the mullet up in chunks. Then I caught me some pinfish — lots of ’em. Pinfish are the pigs of the sea. I started giving ’em away, for free, to whoever would take ’em, because I caught more than two coolers full. That’s the truth. How did I catch so many, you ask? I can’t tell you; but don’t be angry. OK, I’ll give you a hint: There is a channel that the fish are in, and they’re all just sitting inside this channel, see? That’s how I am able to catch so many pinfish.
