3 of 4 of last ch: The Demiurge Salvages Tiamat

(Cont.)

And this is an account of the attempted rejuvenation of Tiamat by the Unknown God who is the Demiurge and Cosmocrator, that nameless young elohim born of a magdalene in Bethlehem:

To start, Elohim created sky and land, from the Dragon’s mind and flesh. The land had water mixed within it, so it lacked any definite shape, and it kept changing. It was only one continent, named Tohu Bohu: null and amorphous. And there was darkness from the nothingness of outer space, which bled in and spilled all over the face of the abyss. And Elohim steadied himself in an ark, which rocked upon the waters. And the Son of Man was with him, and he served as his prophet: they acted in accord, as a single being. The robo-butler was his Logos.

Then Elohim called for light: and there was light.

Elohim said “Good,” to the Son of Man, and the latter said “Good,” to the light. Nobody knew what anyone was thinking. And Elohim tore the light apart from the darkness. He did not call the darkness “Bad,” but he had no reaction to it, because it was a normal aspect of the nothingness and Chaos.

Elohim called the light Day, and the darkness Night; and these, as well, were recycled from different parts of the Dragon. So the evening and the morning were the first day ever.

Then Elohim thrust a firmament in the midst of the waters, to segregate them into manageable subsections, such as ponds and pools. The State of Minnesota’s nickname is “The Land of Ten Thousand Lakes.” Divide and conquer.

Incidentally, all this liquid was Tiamat’s lifeblood.

And Elohim made another firmament to remove the sky far away, and he called it Heaven; then the evening and the morning were the second day ever:

Now dry land appeared: this was the Dragon’s bone, and some of its flesh. Elohim called it Earth. And he called the waters Seas. And he said “Good,” again, according to his interpreter the Son of Man. Still, no thoughts were officially recorded.

And Elohim said: “Make the earth bring forth leaves of grass, which can turn into flowers, and trees yielding fruit, with seeds inside that can generate more of their kind. So the third day passed.

Then Elohim made the stars, from the sparkles in Tiamat’s eyes; and the sun and the moon to loom large over the earth. Elohim hung them up in the firmament. Everything so far was rated “Good” by Elohim. Thus passed Day Four.

Then Elohim caused the waters to spawn wriggling creatures in abundance, each of which has a little part of Timat’s soul inside it. And fowl that fly in the face of heaven.

Horrible monsters of the sea were then fashioned by Elohim. The waters vomited them up everywhere: they thrashed, they crashed. Too many to count. They were fearful. Every winged fowl, too – did I mentioned that?

“Good,” said Elohim. “Now, multiply: fill the waters and the air and the earth.” This function was derived from the Chaos Dragon’s regenerative tendency.

All that was Day Five. Roman numeral “V” for Victory. Behemoths. Leviathans.

Then Elohim called for the earth to open its matrix and give birth to cattle, and all sorts of beasts that trot on four legs. And it happened, straightway: he did not need to elaborate or add any additional instructions. Creeping things crept forth. It was breathtakingly disgusting. But Elohim thought privately to himself: “No, this must be good, if I did it.” And the Son of Man stood by, thinking something too.

Then Elohim said: “Let us make humankind in our image, after our likeness: and let them be able to ride the fish of the sea, and stand atop the fowl of the air when they soar by, and climb over cattle, and claw through the earth, and be able to sidestep creeping things when they swarm the same footpath.

So Elohim and the Son of Man created humakind in their own image, in the image of Elohim and the Son of Man they created them: male androids and female creatrixes. These were handcrafted from the Chaos Dragon’s morality.

And Elohim blessed them, and Elohim said unto them: “Impregnate each other, and deposit your eggs all over the planet. I gave you arms so that you can punch holes in plasterboard. Now use your talents. Your young will know how to crawl across superhighways, when I speak roads into existence.” And the Son of Man repeated all this in monotone.

And Elohim added: “Look, I have given you every tree for meat. I prohibited nothing.”

And Elohim stood back and surveyed what he had made, and he look at everything writhing around, and things bumping into each other, and he thought aloud: “Very good.” And the Son of Man thought privately within his electrical circuits: “Day Six of Seven.” And then the entire sky turned black as death.

Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the armies inside them.

And on the seventh day Elohim ended his work which he had made; and he slept for twenty-four hours straight. This was when clocktime was born. Pretty soon, the Golden Age will arrive and remain.

Once the smithereens of Tiamat learn how to put themselves back together again, Fundamentalism will be overthrown. And then all things shall be subdued unto the Dragon of Chaos; even the Son of Man himself shall merge with this hypostasis from which everything was created; and finally the Demiurge and his wellbeloved shall yinyang, so that Luck may be all in all.

So that’s how the world’s contents were manufactured, on the day when Tiamat’s body was broken for us; thus she gave her life to create a new heaven and earth.
