The Collected Religious Writings of Bryan Ray is my own pentateuch (“five scrolls”) or personal Bible. It contains a brief introductory scripture and four other (un)holy books:
- The Birth of Satan *
- Save the Lord
- Perchance to Sleep No More
- The Teller Chases Her Tale
- Aha!
* Originally published in Truth and Other Fictions, “The Birth of Satan” is a scripture just a few pages long, intended to connect the last book of the King James Bible with its first book (attaching Revelation to Genesis) thus rendering the Bible a cyclical nightmare.
