My rap partner and I bought this stereo receiver manufactured by Technics, so that we can listen to our demo albums; but the unit must have a fuse that’s blown or a loose wire or something, because it keeps shutting off: the sound cuts in and out intermittently. I hope that we can get a replacement.
(Will you lend us your own stereo, dear reader? Come on, friend, please, help out your people. We are begging you on our knees. You have no idea how annoying this Technics receiver is. It would be better if it would simply break altogether and go totally silent, instead of teasing us with random snippets of sound.)
I wish we hadn’t paid fifty bucks for this thing at the Goodwill store. Last Saturday, we returned home from the studio after recording our new hit song called “Folding Tray Table Rap,” then we wanted to listen to our masterwork, so we inserted the CD into the Technics unit and turned up the volume, but, after about a second or two of good noise, the speakers shut off. So my rap partner Stegz got mad and hit the stereo with his fist — BAM! — and it started to work for a moment. But eventually the sound cut out and went choppy again; so he had to keep hitting it many more times. We cannot go on with this system: it’s unsustainable.
