Here is how people celebrate New Year’s Eve. First, they pick up their things, leave their apartment, and travel in pairs until they reach their destination. Then they party till whenever.
For example, my friend Mickey and his high-school sweetheart Nicole went out looking for a location, and, when they found one, they stopped there for a while.
One time, also, this same couple attended a rock concert; but the group performing was a band that I myself dislike, which is why I’m not mentioning its name.
In conclusion: Wherever my friends go, I hope that they don’t get hurt. I also pray that they never drink and drive, especially if their car has a burnt-out headlight. For it would be tragic if they were to get pulled over by the police and accused of behaving irresponsibly.
