New Year’s Eve is unfortunately the ideal time to perform illegal acts, because there is so much natural commotion taking place – such as wine glasses clinking, and folks waving sparkler sticks – which distracts from any crime that is being committed. That’s why terrorists have lots of fun on this holiday; it’s probably their favorite night of the season. They know there will be huge mobs of revelers, and that they all will be talking really loud; so no one will stop and notice if the whole place exploded.
As it gets closer and closer to that time when Jesus Christ will return to Earth along with King Sebastian of Portugal, the ideology of terrorism keeps growing more and more trendy. I wish this weren’t the case. But it’s gotten to the point where the only way to remain safe is to isolate: seclude yourself away from people. For, if you go out and join a crowd of merrymakers who are waltzing the whole night long, you will probably all get smoked.
