E.T., the extra-terrestrial from the 1982 movie, had a glowing red finger and a large, hammer-shaped head. He or she was lovable, kind, charming, and polite.
Contrariwise, other outer-space aliens are rude and cruel: they make you run away, sobbing. Some are blue; some are green. They chase down your adult children; and most are unamerican.
Like I did with the blue aliens versus the green ones above, it helps to segregate our subjects into races, based on common traits. So, shake your sleigh bells to this ditty that I printed:
Some are big; some are small.
Some are short; some are tall.
Some are cold; some are warm.
Some are weird; some are norm.
Oftentimes an alien will pilot a spacecraft, and quite a few of them have sharp, pointy lips.
