An Incident

One year, my sister was very clever: she figured out a way to earn candy on Halloween. And she stored her candy in a big yellow bowl. 

Then sis joined our parents to visit our grandparents in the country. (This was back when she lived with our mom and dad in their house in the suburbs, while my brother and I both lived in our own apartments in the city.) So, with the parents and sis gone on this trip, their house was vacant; and my sister’s yellow bowl was left sitting there in silence, filled with candy. 

At this time, my brother Paul went to visit our parents’ house. When he saw that nobody was home, he decided to throw a party; and he invited all his friends. 

Then, the day after Paul’s house-party ended, our parents and sister returned home. Sis ran to fetch her big yellow candy bowl; but, when she found it, she noticed something strange: it was completely empty — so she was enraged about this. Also, when mom and dad looked in the backyard, they found several used condoms.
