Look at me: I’m driving my car. Here I am, sitting in the front seat with my hand on the steering wheel. Cruising for a long while, very far away, speeding fast. I’m in full control, as the commander of this vehicle.
Now I’ll stop and climb out to look how far I have driven. Wow, what a great distance it is. I drove at high speeds with the wind in my hair. And, during certain sharp corners, I slowed down slightly.
I had nowhere in particular to go — this was only an exercise to pass the time; like reciting numbers just to see how high you can count. And here’s the conclusion: My car moves forward well. Now I’ll try it in reverse.
