The New Sci-Fi Movie

Have you seen the new sci-fi movie? It’s really great. My friend Stegz and I took our lady-friends to it, on Saturday, and his fiancée hated it. She called it “corny and boring.” Apparently, she couldn’t appreciate all the cool sci-fi stuff that the film had to offer. First, MacGyver is in it; so it’s guaranteed to be good. He’s the star. Plus there are dual roles played by Mr. T, from that series The A-Team, and also Kurt Russell, from the film Escaping New York.

What happens is that the characters jump through a stargate, which leads to a colgate that intersects a watergate. Then there is an yuge special effect called “The Whirlwind” that yells at them. It threatens to create strange glowing portals that will permit the old Egyptian gods to trespass the matrix of spacetime. Therefore they battle them. This causes our heroes to experience another pivotal gate-scenario: The finale is a woodgate. They must discover a way to kick the thing open, so that they can ride the lightning jag back to the clock tower in the Eternal Present, where the Scientist awaits them in his white smock.

“. . . for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.”
(Revelation 19:8)
