If you are trying to find a religion to worship, you should rely on fellow Christians to guide you correctly. Or, if you’re Judas, etc., just trust in God. Here’s the facts:
It doesn’t really matter which faith you join, as long as you totally believe in it. All organized religions are knowledgeable. Spirituality is a potent drug: it makes your life worth living, and so on and so forth. It helps you out when times are tough.
Now, if any two religions seem to contradict, I repeat, it’s not such a big deal which one you choose to fight for. And people should not devise arguments to prove the reality of God; just take the path of least resistance, and all good growths will sprout up on their own.
God exists: that is an indisputable certainty. Why? Because, just look at the word itself: “God” is defined as “He who is perfect.” Now, ask yourself: Is it more perfect to be, or not to be? Ay, there’s the rub. And that’s the reason God remains on the sidelines. I don’t know why so many people write book-length treatises about this matter, when it can be solved in just two sentences.
Also, every effect has a cause, since it is not good for either concept to remain alone. So, start wherever you like: consider anything to be an upshot, and follow it back to its origin; then keep repeating this process until you discover a good place to stop. You will have found God. He is the culprit of every consequence, since it is good for the very first cause to remain alone.
I’ll give you one last truth, just to keep your palate wet. Follow this instruction carefully: Try to doubt all that you know. — Did you succeed? “No,” you answer: “Although I can doubt almost everything, I cannot manage to doubt the fact that I’m doubting.” OK, remain calm: that’s exactly my point. This inability of yours is like a coin that, when flipped over, reveals itself to be the sole perfect lingering conviction, which cannot be budged. And what do you reckon that stubborn scar actually is? You’re right: it’s an impression of God within your mind. And who might have stamped it there? Of course, something had to do it.
