You remarked on the look of Juliet’s lips. The uniqueness of her appearance is due to the fact that she is an ape that I met at the zoo — there’s no makeup or injections or anything; all I did was shave her. Of course I left the fur on the top of her head for aesthetic reasons. She really likes to eat bananas. People are often skeptical, when they meet her and hear my explanation — many ask: “Is she an alien?” And then it takes a moment for the truth of my explanation to sink in. She has nice teeth, don’t you agree? Again, they’re totally natural. Ah, now she’s puckering for a kiss. You’ll have to pardon us in advance; our public displays of affection tend to breach decorum.
