Trees at Banks

Here I am, a gargantuan oak at Bremer Bank, planning to open up a savings account so that I can deposit my acorns. When I attempt to fill out the requisite slip of paperwork, sticky sap oozes all over and obscures my info. Also the fellow customers are becoming restless, for the teller announced “I can help whoever is next,” but the line of folks waiting to be served cannot advance, because I’m at the front of the queue, and trees are immobile. So the situation remains stuck like this indefinitely, and nothing ever happens. The other customers stand there groaning with impatience; and, when autumn arrives, my leaves change color.
