I first met Jenny at a big keg party. I walked up to her while she was doing keg stands (a drinking challenge in which a person performs a handstand on top of a beer keg while trying to drink from it for as long as possible). I thought she was cute, and she drank a lot of beer; so I approached and struck up a conversation. The boombox in the garage was loud; we both agreed that we hated that music. We talked all through the evening and discovered that we had much in common. I really admired Jenny for being able to drink more than me. When the party ended, we exchanged telephone numbers; then, in the coming weeks, we spent a lot of time together and became good friends.
