Here is an essay about radio shows. Question: Where are the people who perform such programs physically located? For we listeners hear the voice of the show’s host emanating from our radio’s speakers, but the actual radio itself is too small to contain even a single human being. Once, out of curiosity, I used a screwdriver to take apart my radio, but I found nobody in there: All I saw were wires and tiny electronic components. So this procedure led me to conclude that all radio performers are disembodied specters. I’m also convinced that the world is ending.
