The two basic forms of government are monarchies and republics. Although republics are ideal, they’re hard to implement. Virtuous citizens are a must. You want your system to be trustworthy. Here’s the problem: The masses are so corrupt that if you were to build a good republic, it would blow up. Therefore, monarchy is the way to go, because it could feasibly work in this day and age. Here’s the rundown: A prince rules over everyone, and, if anyone challenges the prince, the prince eliminates that person. No mercy: do it straightaway — be honest. A prince must destroy all of his foes. Yet he must also appear to act humanely, and to possess integrity, faith, and kindness. As long as the public remains blind, the prince can play a double role. That way, he can maintain power, and the monarchy can thrive. This is the truth — if you don’t believe me, just ask Kevin Costner.
SUMMARY. The only stable government is one where people are placed in two compartments: the owner class, which enjoys leisure and wealth; and the employee class, which must work for pay. The latter are the property of the former. And all the land also belongs to the owner class. One’s membership to either category is determined at birth and based purely on appearance: The comely stay here, and the homely go there. Copulation is performed exclusively in public. And the laws prohibit marriage.
